- Add Dry Ingredients: Add the cocoa powder, protein powder, milk, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Stir until everything is well mixed and smooth.
- Add Mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips or nuts if using.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (do not overbake).
- Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
